Lucknow: In view of the increasing outbreak of Coronavirus epidemic in Uttar Pradesh, nodal officers have been appointed in 15 districts in the state. CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with these officers. In the meeting, the nodal officers were informed about the state government's plan to fight the corona before going to camp in the districts.

Government will provide financial help to small artists connecting them with cultural centres

During the meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath gave priority to the measures being taken for the prevention of corona infection, strict adherence to lockdown, providing food to all the needy and maintaining the supply of essential commodities including ration. Yogi told the nodal officers that in 15 districts with more than 20 patients, it is their responsibility to bring these schemes into action properly at the ground level.

All nodal officers will submit their report to the government regarding running this scheme and any negligence being carried out at the district level. IAS officers of the main secretary/commissioner level, police officers of IG level and officers of the health department have been nominated as nodal officers for all 15 districts.
