Anupam's brother Anurag Shyam appealed to the people for monetary help. Now for his assistance, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a grant of twenty lakh rupees. Actor Manoj Joshi thanked Chief Minister Yogi by tweeting this announcement.

Actor Manoj Joshi writes in his post - 'Honorable CM Yogi Adityanath Ji of Uttar Pradesh has announced to give twenty lakh rupees for the treatment of Anupam Shyam ji. I express my gratitude to the respected CM Yogi Ji from the depths of my heart. With this, the Chief Minister has also wished the actor to recover soon. Earlier, actors Sonu Sood and Manoj Bajpayee also came to the aid of the actor. Sonu Sood said that his team is in constant contact with the officers of the hospital. At the same time, Manoj Bajpayee had given financial assistance of 1 lakh rupees to the family.

He did not have any work for a long time. So like how Anurag started getting his dialysis done ten days ago. But when Anupam's health suddenly worsened and he was admitted to Lifeline Hospital in Gorgaon area of Mumbai.
