Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has come into action mode after the death of tigers in Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has removed Chief Wildlife Warden Sunil Chaudhary from his post over the death of four tigers within 50 days. However, Sunil Chaudhary will continue to be in charge of Project Tiger. Along with this, expressing concern over the death of tigers, CM Yogi has also set up an inquiry.  

According to the report, on the orders of Chief Minister Yogi, Forest Minister Arun Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Forest and other officials of the Forest Department reached Dudhwa National Park on Saturday (June 10) and also investigated the relationship of tiger death. Forest and Environment Minister Arun Saxena will soon submit a report on the matter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On Friday, the carcass of a male tiger was found trapped near Kukragarha Tal in the Mailani forest range. There were injury marks on his head.  

Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Director B Prabhakar had said that the tiger whose body has been found seems to be 5 to 6 days old. His age seems to be around six to seven years. It is suspected that the tiger died in a mutual conflict. The body has been sent to IVRI Bareilly to ascertain the exact cause of death. Earlier, the bodies of three tigers and a tigress have been found. Within 50 days, the bodies of 4 tigers have been found.
