New Delhi: Due to the depreciation of the Rupee against the Dollar, CNG prices have increased in Delhi-NCR. Indraprastha Gas Limited has decided to increase the prices of CNG in Delhi-NCR. IGL has increased the prices of CNG in Delhi-NCR, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram. In Delhi, Rewari, Gurugram, and Karnal, CNG has become costlier by 55 Paise per kg in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.

This increase has become effective from 6 am on Sunday. In Delhi, CNG will now be available for Rs 47.10 per kg, while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will be sold for Rs 53.50 per kg. Along with this, CNG will be sold in Gurugram and Rewari at Rs 58.95 and Karnal at Rs 55.95 per kg. Indraprastha Gas Limited will still give a concession of Rs 1.50 per kg to those who fill CNG between 12 pm and 6 am.

This concession will be available in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. On the increase in the price of CNG, IGL spokesperson said that the price of CNG has increased due to the weakening of the Rupee against the US Dollar. The base price of natural gas being purchased by IGL from all sources is linked to the Dollar so that the entire input price depends entirely on the position of the Dollar.
