New Delhi: The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators has refused to accept the decisions taken in the ICC Board meeting. The COA said that it has told the ICC that the BCCI will not accept the decisions taken in the recent ICC Board meeting in Dubai as Amitabh Chaudhary was not an authorized representative of India. Chaudhary was prevented by the COA from attending the ICC meeting but he voted for policy decisions on the invitation of the ICC headed by Shashank Manohar.

The ICC Board had approved the addition of two T20 World Cups and two World Cups of 50 overs, plus an additional global tournament (a six-nation tournament in the 50-over format) for the next eight-year cycle. The members rejected the proposal to hold the ODI World Cup every three years. In a letter to the ICC chief executive Manu Sahni, the COA said, "The COA does not consider Amitabh Chaudhary an authorized representative of the BCCI in the ICC meeting." The BCCI does not accept any decision taken by BCCI nor is it bound to accept any decision of the ICC.
