Telecom sector has suffered a hard hit on its business since the day Jio have announced its free data services. All the giant service providers have minimized the rates of data and tariffs.
Not only decreasing the rates, but Airtel Bharti has also filed a complaint against Jio about not to provide free services after March 31. The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) gave relief to other service providers of the telecom industry on Friday by opening 'price points' of Jio.
As per the resource, COAI said,"They have announced the pricing for the services, which is a good news for the industry, at least they have started charging … Our members will be giving their response but as an industry observer, I can say that the industry will be relieved that price points have been announced. They are aggressive but not bad.”
COAI Director General Rajan S Mathews said, "The question is how much of load can the network take, given the hefty packages of data…that will differentiate the customer experience.”
