Cocaine Bear, has finally stormed onto streaming services after blowing away the competition at the box office earlier this year. Cocaine Bear is a horror comedy film directed by Elizabeth Banks featuring Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ray Liotta, and O'Shea Jackson Jr. in the lead roles. This film, features cocaine, a drug smuggler, and a black bear, is said to be based on true events.

Cocaine Bear is exactly what it sounds like: a bear who consumes a large amount of cocaine before going on a drug-fueled deadly rampage across Georgia's woodlands. The film is based on a true story of an American black bear that overdosed on cocaine after falling from a crashed plane abandoned by drug smugglers in the 1980s. Yet, like with everything in Hollywood, this narrative is being recreated with a larger and more daring perspective on the events.

Cocaine Bear is one of the most recent films from Universal's film studio, and it will be available to see on Peacock very soon. This film will be available on Peacock beginning Friday at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT. You may see the movie by subscribing to the Peacock. It provides an ad-free Premium Plus plan as well as an ad-supported Premium plan. This streaming site also has a free tier for current Peacock subscribers, but it does not allow you to view Cocaine Bear. A Peacock membership is $4.99 a month, or you can buy the film for $20 on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.

If you want to blow your mind and see Cocaine Bear at home — which Rolling Stone called "a gift to stoners worldwide" — there are a couple ways to do so. Although though it debuted in cinemas months ago, the film is still showing in limited locations, and you can find tickets and check to see whether your local theater has showtimes on sites like Fandango.
