Kristen James Stewart is an American actress and film producer. She rose to fame for her leading role as Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga film series (2008–2012), which grossed over $3.3 billion worldwide. The world's highest-paid actress in 2010 and 2012, she is the recipient of a César Award, the only American actress to win it.

Born and raised in Los Angeles to parents who both worked in the entertainment industry, Stewart made her film debut at the age of 12 in David Fincher's thriller Panic Room (2002), playing the daughter of Jodie Foster's character.
