Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in Colombia. The World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic on March 11, since then it is wreaking havoc in the nation.  The nation reported 254 more deaths from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, taking the country's death toll to 55,131.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, 9,790 new corona cases were registered, bringing the national count to 2,135,412.  The country will launch a mass corona vaccination campaign on Feb. 20. The government has extended the health emergency over corona till Feb. 28, urging people to avoid crowds and observe safety measures.

Meanwhile, The global tally for confirmed cases of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 climbed above 103.4 million on Tuesday, according to data aggregated by Johns Hopkins University, while the death toll rose above 2.24 million. The U.S. has the highest case tally in the world at 26.3 million and the highest death toll at 443,365, or about a fifth of the global total.
