New Delhi: B2B Business Platform Udaan, which focuses on small and medium businesses, has filed a complaint with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) against Popular Parle-G biscuit maker Parle Products. The organization alleges that the company is taking advantage of its strong position. They forbid Udaan to directly supply products like her Parle-G biscuits.

Giving this information, sources related to this development have said that in the complaint, Udaan has said that Parle is taking undue advantage of its strong position in the glucose biscuits sector by refusing to supply quick consumption products like biscuits. She refuses to supply Parle-G biscuits to the platform without any valid reason.

According to sources, due to this, Udaan has to buy biscuits from the open market, which adversely affects its competition against sellers who buy the product directly from the company. When contacted, a Udaan spokesperson declined to comment. Mayank Shah, Senior Category Head, Parle Products, said that the company has not received any notice from the Competition Commission in this regard so far. He said, 'We have not received any notice. We have no information in this regard.'
