Director SP Jananathan, whose treatment is undergoing in a private hospital in Chennai, died yesterday. He was 61. The director was known for his powerful and revolutionary films such as Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai, Iyarkai, Ee, Peranmai, and the upcoming Laabam.
