New Delhi: The Congress on Wednesday reiterated its demand for full statehood of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It has also hit out at the Union government and home minister Amit Shah. We demand that Jammu and Kashmir should get full statehood and democratically elected people should be allowed to run the government, party spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh said. That's where migrant workers should be employed with economic security.

Gaurav Vallabh said that 32 people have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 2 months. Nine soldiers including two JCO level officers have been martyred. In Jammu and Kashmir, people were never murdered by asking them for their state, but now this selective murder is taking place. The law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir is the responsibility of the Union Home Minister, but so far he has not responded to the entire incident. Most of his time is spent saving his minister of state.

Talking about the India-Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup, he said the match and Jammu and Kashmir are under the jurisdiction of Home Minister Amit Shah. The full control of cricket is in the hands of his son Jai Shah. Once the two fathers and sons talk to each other and decide. He made a statement on Priyanka Gandhi's stoppage on Agra expressway saying that due to Priyanka Gandhi's growing popularity, every movement of hers is imposed under Section 144.
