Hyderabad: A case of a tussle between Congress and AIMIM leaders in Telangana has come to light. The quarrel has been about meeting the victims in the flood-affected areas. The Congress leader has alleged that he was not given the chance to meet the victims even after reaching the affected area. The leaders of both the parties were involved in the dispute on Sunday (October 18, 2020). After a lot of effort, the police talked to them and calmed the dispute.
According to information, congress leader and former minister Shabbir Ali in the Chanderghat area out of several flood-affected areas of Telangana went to take cognizance of the situation and meet the victims. However, as soon as Shabbir Ali reached the flood-affected area, some AIMIM leaders and activists also arrived. After that, the dispute started, and the debate turned into a skirmish. Later, the police cooled the case.
According to media reports, several areas of Telangana are badly affected by floods due to recent heavy rains. In these areas. Many AIMIM leaders were there to help the victims, but the Congress leaders also came there and tried to talk to them, after which the controversy started.
