New Delhi: To unite the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and to infuse new enthusiasm among the party workers, former national president of the party Rahul Gandhi is starting the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' from Wednesday (September 7). This journey will start from Kanyakumari and end in Kashmir. Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', which will last for 150 days, will pass through 12 states of the country and will cover a distance of 3570 km. 

Congress leaders and about 300 people associated with civil society will participate in the padyatra along with Rahul Gandhi. Congress had already made it clear that Rahul Gandhi will not stay in any hotel during the visit. Rahul Gandhi will cover this entire distance travelling in a normal way. In such a situation, the question arises that where and how will Rahul Gandhi stay for five months during the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. Where will they eat and sleep at night? Similarly, how will the passengers accompanying them eat, live and sleep. All these questions are arising in the mind of the people. 

Let us tell you that during the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' of 3570 km, Rahul Gandhi's home will be a container, which will be moving. Rahul Gandhi will stay in this container for 150 days. For sleeping, beds, toilets and AC has also been installed in some. Actually, the temperature and heat will have increased in many parts during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, there are many areas in the 3570 km journey where there will be severe heat and humidity. Therefore, an arrangement of AC has also been made in the container. Along with this, mattresses have also been made to sleep in the container itself.

During this entire journey, instead of staying in any hotel, Rahul Gandhi will stay in a container, which has been converted into a well-equipped home. During this, 117 party leaders will also be present along with Rahul. 28 of these leaders are also women. Separate containers have been made for women to stay and sleep. Apart from Congress leaders, civil society people, security personnel, members of the party's communication team including photographers, people handling social media platforms as well as people from the medical team will also be there. In this way, this number is getting up to 300.

It is being told that the Congress leaders involved in the Bharat Joda Yatra will prepare their own breakfast and food. However, in some places, state Congress units will also make arrangements for food and drink for the Congress leaders involved in the yatra. Congress is not involving outsiders of any kind for this Bharat Jodo Yatra. All the passengers accompanying Rahul will have breakfast and food together in a tent at the same place.
