It is believed that in the meeting, leadership was discussed in the grand alliance for the assembly elections. Manjhi has already been demanding a coordination committee in the grand alliance. He has been saying that the same coordination committee should make all the big decisions with the leadership of the grand alliance.

These issues were also discussed in a meeting of Congress at the residence of senior Congress leader and former Governor Nikhil Kumar. State Congress President Madan Mohan Jha, Sadanand Singh, Akhilesh Singh, Tariq Anwar and Dhiraj Kumar etc. are included in the meeting. Through the meeting, the Congress increased the pressure on the RJD on the issue of seat-sharing and leadership. After the meeting, Congress MP Akhilesh Singh gave his formula for seat sharing in the assembly elections. He said that he was with the alliance in the last assembly elections. Therefore, the Janata Dal United's 102 seats should be divided among the constituents of the Grand Alliance and the Congress gets the most share. Later, Congress leader Ajit Sharma also supported Akhilesh Singh in his statement. Senior Congress leader of the Congress, Sadanand Singh, said that the assembly elections were fought under the leadership of the Congress.
