Lucknow: Congress has formed a new government in Karnataka. Several MLAs also took oath as ministers along with CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. During this, many opposition leaders also participated in this program, but Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former CM Mayawati, while taunting the formation of the new Congress government, termed it as a hoax with the Dalit-Muslim community.

BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted from her official Twitter handle that, 'Congress has tried to suppress its internal strife a little by making Mr. DK Shivakumar the Deputy Chief Minister in the cabinet after the Karnataka assembly elections, but why neglecting Dalit and Muslim society? While both these sections came together and voted for the Congress to make it victorious.'

Accusing the Congress of marginalizing the Dalit and Muslim communities, Mayawati said, 'After the Congress completely ignored the claim raised by the Dalit community for the post of CM in Karnataka, now no Dalit or Muslim can be the Deputy CM. Making this shows their casteist mindset, that is, they remember this class only in their bad days. These people should be alert.
