After Rahul Gandhi's statement surfaced, Congress office bearers are now vying to resign. More than 125 office bearers resigned in support of Rahul Gandhi at a meeting of congress office bearers from across the country in Delhi on Friday. In Rajasthan, state Congress Secretary Jaswant Gurjar had also resigned at the same meeting and today Devendra Yadav, co-in-charge of the Rajasthan State Congress, has also resigned after taking over the responsibility of defeating state in-charge General Secretary Avinash Pandey.

Rajasthan AICC chief Tarun Kumar has also submitted his resignation to Rahul Gandhi a short while ago. Though Sachin Pilot, president of Rajasthan's state Congress unit, has been in Delhi for two days and has met the party's veteran leaders, there has been no offer of resignation from him so far.
