Patna: The Congress has started trying to keep MLAs united even before the Bihar assembly election result. The party has instructed all the candidates that if the election wins, they have to immediately approach senior leaders. The Congress has also prepared its MLAs to reach Rajasthan and Punjab to avoid any apprehension.
The RJD-Congress alliance is confident of victory in Bihar assembly elections. Exit polls are also pointing to the victory of the Grand Alliance. Even after all this, the Congress does not want to take any risk. The party has shifted the central leaders who are responsible for coordination to Patna to deal with the situation that arose after the election result immediately.
A senior party leader has informed that all the candidates have been asked to approach Randeep Surjewala, who is responsible for coordination immediately after the victory. He said, if no party gets a majority in the elections, the party has also prepared to send its MLAs to Rajasthan and Punjab. This is because the apprehension of spillage in the party can be avoided.
