New Delhi: On Saturday, December 16, 2023, the Congress Party announced the launch of a donation drive, seeking assistance from the common people to combat the BJP. With a rich history spanning 138 years, the party encourages individuals to contribute in the spirit of its longevity—donating amounts such as Rs 138, Rs 1380, Rs 13800, Rs 138000, or any other desired sum in the same proportional ratio.
The official initiation of the donation drive is scheduled for December 18, 2023. Ajay Maken, in a press conference shared on social media platform X, presented details of the campaign, stating, "We are going to start a crowdfunding campaign in the name of Donate for Desh, which will be launched by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on December 18, 2023."

To facilitate contributions, the Congress Party has provided multiple avenues. Interested donors can visit the website http://donateinc.in or donate money through http://inc.in. Additionally, contributions can be made using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, RTGS, NEFT, or by scanning a QR code. The party emphasizes that donors must be Indian citizens and above 18 years of age.
The donation drive by the Congress Party, set to commence on December 18, will be inaugurated by party president Mallikarjun Kharge. As one of the longest-standing political entities in the country, Congress, having been out of power for approximately 10 years, has embarked on a campaign seeking financial support from the public. This marks a challenging period for Congress and its leaders as they navigate the path ahead.
