Congress leader former finance minister P Chidambaram has suggested a ten-point formula to the government. He has given this suggestion because of the outbreak of Coronavirus. He also said that in view of the increasing economic instability of the people especially from the lockdown, it is necessary to provide cash and ration assistance to such people immediately so that people do not leave the homes.

For your information, let us tell you that in support of the entire lockdown, Chidambaram issued a statement saying that this announcement is a new war against Corona in which the public is a warrior and the Prime Minister Commander. That is why it is the duty of all of us to give full support to the Prime Minister, Central and State Governments at this time. He said that the struggle to not get out of the houses is absolutely right, but we also have to do planning thinking how people will live for 21 days. Their daily life needs and protection of livelihood is important.

Due to the outbreak of virus, Chidambaram suggests that the amount should be increased from six to double to 12000 thousand rupees under the PM-Kisan scheme. Also, this additional amount should be immediately transferred to the beneficiary's account. The farmers cultivating the tracks should also be brought under its purview. An amount of Rs 3000 cash should be transferred immediately in the account of registered laborers under MNREGA. While 6000 thousand rupees should be given to the account holders having Jan Dhan bank account to help the poor in urban areas.
