Bhopal: Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Arun Yadav has recently made a controversial statement on Union Minister Smriti Irani. In fact, recently, he called Smriti Irani an old woman. Not only that, Arun Yadav also said, "Inflation has become a nymph in this government. Hema has become Malini. Let me tell all of you that Arun Yadav said all these things while campaigning in the Khandwa Lok Sabha by-election. You must be aware that bye-elections are being held in three Assembly and one Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh.

Arun Yadav rushed to Pandhana in Khandwa to campaign and surrounded the BJP on the issue of price rise. Meanwhile, when an activist mentioned Smriti Irani, he said, 'Raju Bhai Smriti Irani is missing you a lot, Dokri (in local language old man is called Dokri) on Gayo'. He further said, "Under the Congress rule, the BJP used to see inflation as a witch and now that inflation has gone up much more, they see price rise as nymph. Hema has become Malini.'

However, a political frenzy has erupted after Arun Yadav's statement and one leader after another is seen keeping his ray. On the other hand, the BJP hit out at the Congress high command and Priyanka Gandhi over the statement. The BJP says, "Priyanka Gandhi has been saying, "I am a girl, I will fight. You could not fight the rape son of a Congress leader from Madhya Pradesh, will you fight Congress leader Arun Yadav who made lewd remarks on women? Or the same doubleness? The country wants to know!"
