New Delhi: Amid the Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, a piece of bad news has come out. In fact, Congress Seva Dal general secretary Krishnakant Pandey has died. He was involved in Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. It is being told that Congress leader Krishnakant Pandey was walking in the yatra with a flag in his hand, shortly after which he suffered a heart attack and died. Rahul Gandhi condoled the death of Krishnakant Pandey.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote that ''The passing away of Krishnakant Pandey Ji, General Secretary of Congress Seva Dal, is very sad for the entire Congress family. I express my deepest condolences to their loved ones. Today, during the journey, he held the tricolour in his hands at the last moment. His dedication to the country will continue to inspire us forever.''

At the same time, senior Congress leader and National General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has also condoled the death of Krishnakant Pandey by tweeting. He wrote in his tweet, 'During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Seva Dal General Secretary Krishna Kumar Pandey was holding the tricolour and was walking with me. After a few minutes, he handed over the tricolour to a colleague and returned. He then collapsed and was taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.'
