New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge has blamed the government for not allowing the opposition to raise "relevant issues" or allow any discussion in the House. We can only survive if we raise issues that are necessary for the public, he said on Friday. Speaking at an event, Congress leader Kharge said the government is not allowing the opposition to speak on issues affecting the people.

He said that whether it is Pegasus, farmers' movement, corona management, or rising prices. Only if we are alive can we negotiate other things. If we have a voice then we can speak for others. If we don't have a voice, there will be no farmers' issue, no price rise, no corona. He said the speaker should have the strength. It's important, because it's my fundamental right, it's my privacy, it's my security. Kharge on alleged Pegasus surveillance case and spyware manufacturer NSO said N means Narendra, S means Shah, O means overall monitoring.

Kharge was referring to PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said he is NSO Israeli company, it's the company here. He said the opposition's agenda for the monsoon session is to raise relevant issues. He said that not only the Congress, but the leaders of 15 opposition parties decided together that the first issue should be raised to save our freedom, save fundamental rights, save freedom of expression.
