New Delhi: It has been almost 50 days since the Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' began. Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari is also going to join this yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Manish Tewari, who was a member of the G-23 group, has shown a rebel attitude in demanding organizational changes in the Congress. However, a reconciliation had begun between Mallikarjun Kharge and the party high command by becoming a proposer of Mallikarjun Kharge, who was a strong contender in the election for the post of Congress president.
Manish Tewari will reach Telangana on Thursday night and join Rahul Gandhi on Friday morning in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Now by joining this yatra with Rahul Gandhi, Manish Tewari is trying to improve his relations with the party's high command. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, began from Makthal in Telangana's Narayanpet district at 6.30 am on Thursday after a four-day break, which was joined by Congress state unit chief A Revanth Reddy, MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Bhatti Vikramarka and several other party leaders.
This is the second day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Telangana. The Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Telangana via Gudebelur on the morning of October 23 after leaving Raichur in Karnataka. After a brief padyatra, the yatra was called off from Sunday afternoon to October 26. Rahul left the yatra for Delhi for the second time on October 23.
