New Delhi: Delhi Congress unit Vice President Mehdi Hasan has expressed his hatred against the Jewish country as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict erupts again. The Congress leader wished Israel a ruin and said Allah would destroy it. In his official tweet, Mehdi wrote, "Allah will destroy Israel'

Mehdi posted a picture of a crying Arabic woman with the Al Aqsa Mosque behind it, praying for Israel's ruin. Though he deleted the tweet after the controversy, the screenshot had gone viral by then. Mehdi's hate tweet against Israel comes at a time when the conflict between the Jewish nation and Palestine has once again reached its peak. The atmosphere between the two countries has been tense since the rakate attack, which has been launched between Tuesday evening, targeting Israeli cities, especially as terrorist organizations declared by several countries.

In response, Israel carried out a series of attacks on The Hamas, a Palestinian terror group, inside the Gaza Strip. Israeli security forces carried out air strikes targeting targets in Gaza as Hamas retaliated by sustained attacks against Israel. During the retaliation on Tuesday, an Israeli air strike also demolished a high-rise residential and office building controlled by Hamas.
