Yes, Bank co-founder Rana Kapoor has made a big revelation before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in his interrogation. Rana Kapoor has told the investigating agency that he was forced to buy a painting of MF Husain from Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Rana Kapoor also said that the money received by selling the painting was used by the Gandhi family for the treatment of Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi in New York. This has been revealed in the charge sheet filed by the ED in a special court in Mumbai.
Former Union minister Milind Deora played the role of a middleman in the entire process of the painting that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had sold to Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor. He has also revealed this himself. Rana Kapoor also told the ED that he was told by former petroleum minister Murli Deora that his relations with the Gandhi family could deteriorate if he refused to buy a painting of MF Hussain. Apart from relations, another threat was also given of 'respect'. Rana Kapoor was even today told that he would not get the 'Padma Bhushan award' if he refused to buy the painting.

Rana Kapoor also told the investigating agency that Sonia Gandhi's speciality Ahmed Patel had told him that he had done a good job by helping the Gandhi family at the right time for Sonia's treatment. So his name will be considered for the 'Padma Bhushan award.
