Parsadi Lal Meena has compared former Congress President Rahul Gandhi to Lord Shri Ram. He has said that Lord Ram walked from Ayodhya to Lanka. Rahul Gandhi, who is taking out the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', will walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, in such a situation, he will walk more than Lord Ram. At the same time, the BJP has expressed displeasure over this statement of Parsadi Lal Meena and said that it is wrong to compare Rahul with Lord Ram, the public is watching everything.

In fact, Parsadi Lal Meena, a minister in the Congress government of Rajasthan, reached Bagdi village of Lalsot town of Dausa district on Monday (October 17, 2022) to lay the foundation stone of many other schemes including the CHC building. During this, he said that Rahul is walking 3500 km and he is walking more than Lord Ram. Meena further said that even Lord Ram had not travelled so long during his exile in Treta Yuga. The Congress minister said that Lord Ram walked from Ayodhya to Sri Lanka and more than that, this is the historic padyatra of Rahul Gandhi, which will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He said that Rahul Gandhi is working to connect the country in the atmosphere of communalism that has been created in the country. Along with this, he gave a statement that such a long padyatra has never come out and no one will be able to take it out further.

Regarding this statement of Meena, Rajasthan BJP spokesperson and MLA Ramlal Sharma has said that Congress should flatter to an extent and see who has to flatter whom and how much. He said that it is unfair to compare the visit of Rahul Gandhi with that of Lord Ram. Along with this, the BJP has also reminded that the Congress, which denied the existence of Lord Ram and Ram Setu, by giving an affidavit in the Supreme Court, is now comparing Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram.
