Jaipur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has not only targeted the BJP in Parliament but now he is also tightening up in the Mahapanchayat in Rajasthan. Today, he has targeted the BJP even during the Mahapanchayat in Rajasthan. In fact, addressing the 'Kisan Mahapanchayat' in Hanumangarh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, 'The food security of this country, the soul of this country is protected by the farmers and the business of agriculture. Congress party has been trying to never let the business of farming go into the hands of one person. It has been our goal that this business should remain the occupation of 40% of the people of India.'
With this, he further said about the agricultural law, 'The first agricultural law says that any big businessman can buy as much grain as he wants from any farmer anywhere in the country. What is the need of the market then? Therefore the first law is the law to abolish mandi. The second law says that any industrialist can store vegetables, grains, fruits for as long as he wants. Meaning this person will be able to control the price. As soon as this second law comes into force, hoarding by billionaire people will start in India.'
With this, in his address, he said on the third law, ''When the same company sells all the fruits and vegetables of the country, then what will happen to small traders today? All these people will become unemployed. This is not an attack on an invasion of farmers, it is an attack on 40 percent of the people of India. If these three laws are implemented, then the farmer goes, but even the small traders go, 40 percent of the people of India will become unemployed. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi also said, 'Modi Ji says that we want to interact with farmers, what do you want to talk? Repeal the (agricultural) laws, farmers will talk with you. You (PM) are taking away their land, future and then you want to talk. Take the law first, then talk.''
