New Delhi: On its 91st anniversary, the Indian Air Force (IAF) commemorated the occasion with a grand Air Force Day parade in Prayagraj. Established in 1932, the IAF dropped its “Royal” prefix in 1950, signifying its transition to an independent and sovereign force. This year's theme, 'IAF – Airpower Beyond Boundaries,' underlined the IAF's unwavering commitment to excellence and national defense.
Traditionally held at Hindon, the parade was moved outside the national capital in recent years, and this year, Prayagraj played host to the impressive event. The festivities included a spectacular airshow featuring various aircraft, showcasing the IAF's capabilities and achievements.
