New Delhi: Two indigenous Covid vaccines have been approved for emergency use with certain conditions on Sunday. Ever since the use of the corona vaccine has been approved, politics has started about it. On the one hand, senior Congress leaders have questioned the approval of the vaccine, on the other hand, BJP has termed the attitude of the Congress an insult to the scientists of the country. Today, on behalf of the Drug Controller of India (DCGI), the limited emergency use of the vaccine 'Covishield' and Bharat Biotech's 'Covaxin' has been approved by Oxford. After knowing this, Congress leaders Shashi Tharoor and Ramesh Jairam Ramesh have also tweeted.

Congress leaders have questioned the emergency use of the vaccine and sought an answer from Health Minister Dr Harsh Varshan. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has tweeted and written, "The third phase of the Covaxin has not been tested yet. Approval is received prematurely and can be dangerous. Dr Harsh Vardhan should clarify. Its use should have been avoided until the full trial was over. During this time India can start the campaign with the AstraZeneca vaccine. ''

Congress leader and former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh has also raised a similar question. He has stated, 'Bharat Biotech is a first-class enterprise, but the surprising thing is that internationally accepted protocols related to Phase III trials are being revised for Covaxin. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan should clarify this. In this way, the two leaders have tweeted and sought answers from the Union Health Minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan.
