Lucknow: Congress leaders rushed to the Trauma Centre to meet the Unnao rape victim who was injured in the accident on Monday morning. However, Congress leaders were not allowed to meet the victim by the heavy police force deployed on the spot.

On the other hand, Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has demanded a CBI probe into the road accident of Unnao rape victim. It may be mentioned that two female relatives of the victim have died in the incident. Akhilesh says that the victim has been given protection but not a single security personnel was present with him during the accident.

Akhilesh said that the accident was just an accident or a conspiracy to destroy the victim's family. On the other hand, the Congress has also raised a demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the incident. The court had last year decided to provide security to the family of the rape victim, but no security guard was present during the incident with the family.
