Madhya Pradesh: Cabinet expansion of the Shivraj government has come under the scanner. Congress party has strongly opposed this cabinet expansion. Recently, party leader Chaudhary Rakesh Singh has raised questions about the government's cabinet expansion. In which he called the expansion of the cabinet non-constitutional. He said that the appointment of 33 cabinet ministers by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is non-constitutional as the Assembly has only 206 members. This violates the constitution. Therefore, he has written to the Governor and President of India to take action.

On the other hand, Kamal Nath, the head of the MP Congress, targeted the cabinet expansion of the Shivraj government. He said in his statement that this is the first time in the 'history of democracy' that 14 out of 33 ministers are not MLAs and the cabinet has been formed keeping in mind the by-election for the assembly seats. Kamal Nath told the media that these 14 ministers have to fight elections. They are not even MLAs. He said that people will teach BJP a lesson in the by-elections. He said that if necessary, the party will go to court with it.

Last week Shivraj Singh has formed his political team. On the strength of which he wants to fix the system in MP. At the time of cabinet expansion in the Shivraj government, 28 MLAs were made ministers. This is the new claim of CM Shivraj after returning to power. 5 MLAs became ministers during the cabinet expansion in April. However, the portfolios have not been divided yet. Discussion is going on in the central leadership of the party and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan about this. Shivraj went to Delhi two days ago with this. 24 seats are vacant in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh assembly. The BJP currently has 107 MLAs, while the rival Congress has 92.
