New Delhi: The Congress has been troubled by the problem of defection for the past few days. In Gujarat, the Congress is weakening day by day. Congress leaders are leaving one party after another and going to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Whether it is assembly elections or local bodies, the exodus of leaders in the party is further intensified at the time of elections. The leaders who leave the Congress often accuse us of not listening.

Now, after the date of election of the body in Gujarat has been announced, the party has set up a desk control committee to redress the complaint and prevent the leaders from leaving the party. Rajiv Satav, in-charge of Gujarat, has said that tickets will be provided to leaders who will be loyal to the party. Those who leave Congress after winning the election will not go to the other party. After the announcement of the body elections, Jhareshwar Congress leader Kaushik Patel along with his 300 supporters joined the BJP. In Ankleshwar, a large number of activists left the Congress and joined the BJP.

In Vadodara also, the BJP has given the slogan 'Mission 76'. The BJP, which is claiming to win all the 76 seats, is eyeing several Congress leaders in their court. Congress has set up a desk control committee for the first time. The Gujarat Congress President has asked the committee to include top leaders of Vadodara to ensure that no leader changes the party due to outrage.
