Angered by this, MLA Sahu returned her security guard, 3 PSOs and government vehicle. Thereafter, she went straight to the SP office with her husband Chandu Sahu. The MLA said to the police officers present there, 'I have brought my husband, arrest him. A case is registered against him. Thereafter, the police arrested the criminal Chandu Sahu and produced him in court. The court sent Sahu to jail.

In protest, she returned the security she had received from the government. MLA Chhani said that 2.5 lakh persons from the Khujji assembly constituency have made her an MLA. Now she will go to the people of the area by two-wheeler without any PSO or guard. She said that CM Bhupesh Baghel has been directed to stop illegal sand mining and transportation. Her husband Chandu Sahu raised his voice over the illegal transportation of sand, but the police administration took action against her husband.
