New Delhi: Yesterday, posters of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra were seen outside Congress party headquarters in Delhi. The poster features one of the taglines from Congress’ television ad campaign Kattar Soch Nahi, Yuva Josh (Not bigotry but youthfulness) on the top and below it says, “Jan jan ki hai, yahi pukar Rahul ji-Priyanka ji abki baar.”

However, Congress party workers from many state units launched a massive support campaign for Priyanka Gandhi. While workers in Varanasi brought out a poster appealing her to contest from Varanasi – PM Narendra Modi’s constituency, party workers from Gorakhpur urged her to contest from Gorakhpur.

Priyanka was appointed as party’s general secretary by Rahul Gandhi last month and has been given charge of the party affairs in eastern Uttar Pradesh which is crucial for the grand old party given the fact that it PM Modi's parliamentary constituency and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's stronghold Gorakhpur come under this region.

Since her official entry into politics, she has been depicted in various avatars. Recently, she was portrayed as ‘Manikarnika’ by Congress party workers in Gorakhpur and the poster carries the slogan, "Chaaro taraf baj raha danka, Bahan Priyanka - Bahan Priyanka and "Desh ki ab yahi pukar, Congress aae abki baar."
