Bengaluru: Election Commission seized 9,746 voter ID cards from Flat No. 115 at SLV Park View Apartment in Jalahalli area on Tuesday. Returning Officer along with other election commission officials present at the flat Karnataka Election 2018.

Amid this entire fake voter Id card Hullaballoo Congress spokesperson Surajewala addressed press meet and alleged, “BJP leadership said M Nanjamuri's son Rakesh, who EC says was a tenant of flat no. 115 where all these cards were found, also didn't belong to BJP. I have list of BJP corporation candidates 2015 & at no.16, you find Rakesh to be BJP candidate from Jalahalli constituency”.

He added, “These are news reports  pointing out prominent losers of the corporation polls & it mentions BJP's Manjula Nanjamuri, sitting corporator of HMT ward, who contested from Jalahalli where flat no. 115 is situated”,  asserted Congress on 9,746 voter ID cards found in a flat in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Election Commission confirmed seizure of 9,746 voter ID cards and ordered probe.

The incident was come to light by Jagadish Ramachandra, son of GH Ramachandra who’s fighting on a JD(S) ticket from RR Nagar. He visited the apartment during election campaigning.

“Flat no. 115 at SLV Park View in Jalahalli looked like a mini-BBMP office. Apart from two aluminium boxes filled with ID cards, there were two printers and six laptops,” said Jagadish. He  also alleged there could be 50,000 fake voter ID cards and the list included the ID card of BBMP joint commissioner Tippeswamy.
