Several reviews are being given of the Congress meeting held on Saturday to end the discord within the Congress. It is believed that Sonia Gandhi listened in great detail to the dissidents of the Congress in this meeting. It is being said that after this meeting, the path for Rahul Gandhi to become the Congress President once again has become clear. From the day Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post of Congress President, there used to be a common factor in big congress meetings.

At this meeting, two such leaders were present who are considered to be the eyes and ears of 12 Tughlaq Lane. 12 Tughlaq Lane is the residence of Rahul Gandhi. However, all the Congress leaders were present in this important meeting on Saturday. If no one was present, they were the leaders who are called the eyes and ears of Rahul Gandhi. In the absence of these two big leaders, many people raised their issue in the meeting and talks were held once again among many leaders and journalists whether everything is still alright in the party.

The two important leaders who were missing from yesterday's meeting and Rahul Gandhi's lieutenants were Congress media in-charge Randeep Surjewala and general secretary (organization) KC Venugopal. The absence of these leaders gave rise to many speculations. Surjewala remained missing from the meeting when just a day before, he had tried to avoid the Congress conscience by speaking a slight. Whereas Sonia had to be active to resolve this 'minor' discord and called a meeting.
