One study claimed that about a quarter of the world's population may not receive the covid-19 vaccine until 2022. The study, published in a journal called the BMJ, states that distributing a vaccine is as challenging as developing it. In another study published in this journal, it is being speculated that 3.7 billion adults all over the world want to be vaccinated by covid. This study is underscoring the importance of creating fair and equitable strategies to ensure supply in line with demand in low and middle income countries.

It is known that the challenges of the global corona virus vaccination program will be as much as the challenges associated with developing the vaccine. Just as the future supply of vaccines is ensured, but their reach to the rest of the world is uncertain.

India needs 80 thousand crores for vaccine distribution: Dr. Satish D. Ravetkar, executive director of the Pune-based vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India, said that India would need Rs 80 thousand crore for the delivery of covid-19 next year. Serum is developing a vaccine developed by Oxford University-AstraZeneca known as covishield in the country. He said that the power supply would also need to be restored, so that the temperature required for vaccine safety would be maintained.
