Amritsar: Political turmoil continues in Punjab Congress. Meanwhile, the Congress high command has made preparations for another change in the state. It is being told that former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat can be removed from the post of state in charge of Punjab and this responsibility can be entrusted to Harish Chaudhary in his place.

Significantly, for the last 15 days, major changes are taking place in Punjab one after the other. Here first Captain Amarinder Singh resigned from the post of CM of Punjab. After this Charanjit Singh Channi was crowned. Meanwhile, Punjab state unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu also resigned. While in charge of Punjab, Rawat has so far proved unsuccessful in settling these issues. Actually, after the resignation of Amarinder Singh, Harish Rawat had described Sidhu as the face of Congress in the upcoming assembly elections. Rawat had said that Congress had already made up its mind about Charanjit Singh Channi. Who will be the face of Congress in the upcoming elections, this decision will be taken by the Congress President. But if we look at the current situation, this time the election will be fought under the leadership of the Punjab government's cabinet and state president Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Congress veteran Sunil Jakhar had objected to this statement of Rawat. He had said that the statement given by Harish Rawat on the day of the oath ceremony of Charanjit Singh Channi is shocking. It weakens the power of the CM and at the same time, it raises questions on the selection of someone.
