New Delhi: The Congress party will hold a countrywide demonstration on January 15 against three agricultural laws brought by the Central government. The demonstration will be held in support of the ongoing farmers' movement against agricultural laws. Congress national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said on Saturday that January 15 will create a mass movement as 'Kisan Rights Day' at each provincial headquarters in support of farmers.

After the protest and rally, the Congress will take a march to Raj Bhavan. He said that through this agitation, the government will be able to withdraw the three black agricultural laws. Randeep Singh Surjewala told a press briefing in the Congress on Saturday that there has never been such a cruel and inexorable government in the history of the 73-year-old country. This government is even more merciless than the British and the East India Company. "Now the farmers of the country are on the way to do or die to end the black laws," he said.

Surjewala said that on January 15, when the government discusses with the farmers next time, it is known that the entire country has taken a stand and the government will now have to listen to the farmers. "When the arrogance of power began to speak head-on, when the rights of the citizen were crushed, it is the duty of the opposition and the people of the country to create a mass movement against such a government," he added.
