The Congress party announced on Friday that it will host a rally in Delhi on December 12 to protest rising petrol prices and inflation. Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and other Congress leaders from throughout the country will speak during the gathering.

"It will send a decisive warning to the current Modi administration to halt looting and decrease the backbreaking costs," said Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal in a statement. We will continue to fight till the Modi government relents." According to Congress, massive price increases and inflation have wiped out every family's earnings, household income, and budget.

"The people of India are subjected to unspeakable cruelty and untold suffering as a result of the BJP government's price hikes and inflation. Every household's budget is slashed, even the most basic nutrition suffers, and people are finding it difficult to purchase and consume day-to-day food items and other consumables," he said. "The Modi government is completely ignorant to the people's tremendous sorrow and suffering," he remarked.

The only remedy supplied by the Modi government, according to a part of the electronic media, is a divisive religious discourse or infrequent diversionary pronouncements to shift the focus away from core concerns affecting people's lives.
