Kannauj: The Income Tax Department team is raiding the premises of Samajwadi Party (SP) Legislative Council Member (MLC) and perfume businessman Pushpraj Jain Pumpi since morning. Apart from Kannauj, Kanpur, Hathras, Noida, these raids are also going on at locations located in Mumbai and Gujarat. The IT team is conducting searches at the perfume factory of SP MLA Pushpraj Jain in Hathras.

Half a dozen Income Tax Department officers in two vehicles reached Pushpraj Jain's residence and factory early in the morning. A residence and factory of Pampi Jain is located on Siktara Road located in Hasayan Kotwali area of Hathras district. Along with this, Income Tax Department officials are searching the office of perfume trader Pushpraj Jain in Pragat Aroma Complex, Kanpur. The regional office of Pushpraj Jain's company Pragati Aroma is in Mumbai, raids are going on there too. It is being told that perfumes are imported from the Mumbai office to many countries including Dubai, Abu Dhabi.

Please tell that SP MLC Pushpraj Jain has four brothers. Atul Jain and Pushpraj Jain look after the perfume business in Kannauj and Kanpur, while Prabhat Jain and Pankaj Jain both live in Mumbai and look after the business from the Mumbai office. Pushpraj Jain aka Pumpi is associated with about 18 firms or companies. Pushpraj Jain alias Pumpi Pragati is one of the directors of Aroma Oil Distillers P Ltd. Apart from this, he has been a director of 12 more companies, partner in 5 companies.
