Jammu: Many attacks are done by the opposition. On the occasion of Bakrid in North Kashmir, the security forces have thwarted the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist module, while the IED attack conspiracy failed. The security forces have detained a woman and four terrorists, along with the explosive material used in IEDs, multi grenade launchers and three 40 mm grenades from their clutches.

The Baramulla resident lady was leading the terrorist module. Three other terrorists belong to Anantnag and Budgam. All have been caught in three different operations. Intelligence agencies had received information that the terrorists are plotting IED attack in Kupwara. This attack will be carried out under the supervision of a woman. Three people of Budgam are also involved in this conspiracy. On this information received on 21 July, the security forces have detained two OGW Sahil Bashir and Athar Yusuf of Hizbul in Budgam town with an excessive amount of weapons and explosive material.

In addition to this, three MGL grenades of 40 SM have also been recovered in addition to the material for making IEDs. After interrogating them, the third person was also taken into custody on July 22 from Kokernag in Anantnag city. Suspicious material was recovered. During her interrogation at JIC Kupwara, she told in her statement that a woman from Baramulla is running this program at the behest of the bosses in Pakistan. And continuous questioning is being done by the security forces. And complete information is being obtained.
