Continuous research is being done on what can happen to Covid-19. Scientists from all over the world are doing research and have submitted their report. So far it has come to the forefront that it is a disease caused by infection and due to coming in contact with each other. A study led by an Indian-origin researcher in the US has informed that the risk of getting Covid is increasing among teenagers and youth who use e-cigarettes. This study has been published in the Journal of Adolescent Health.
Investigations showed that e-cigarette users were 5 to 7 times more infected than normal individuals. The lead author of this study and postdoctoral Shivani Mathur from Stanford College in the US has said that young people always think they will not have Covid-19, but the statistics say that people who use e-cigarettes are infected.
In the investigation, 4,351 participants aged between 13 and 24 years have been included. The participants have been divided into two parts. In one part, people who used e-cigarettes are being kept and in other parts they are kept, who never used tobacco products. Findings showed that people who had used cigarettes or e-cigarettes over the past 30 days had 5 times more symptoms of corona (cough, fever, fatigue, and difficulty breathing).
