Health Minister Mikhail Murashko has made a big statement about the Coronavirus drug made by Russia. In his statement on Wednesday, he told that within two weeks the first batch will be vaccinated against Coronavirus (COVID-19). On Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Health registered the first coronavirus vaccine in the world. The vaccine, named Sputnik V, was produced jointly by the Gamalaya Research Institute and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Murasco told a press conference that within two weeks the first batch would be given a vaccine dose. "Vaccination will be voluntary. The doctors who have immunity against the coronavirus are 20 percent of such doctors. If they think that there is no need to get them vaccinated, then it will be up to them to decide."
The Health Minister said that fulfilling the requirements of Russia, the vaccine can also be exported abroad. Murasco said that the vaccine certainly has some export potential, and we will present it to other countries as well, but the needs of the domestic market are our priority.
