Satna: The BJP is in a tizzy over the selection of candidates in the Madhya Pradesh civic body elections. Meanwhile, the contenders from Satna and Chhindwara celebrated even before the release of the official list by the BJP. On this issue, the party has said that the list has not been released.
Claiming to have got a mayor's ticket in Chhindwara, BJP leader Jitendra Shah and his supporters also celebrated getting the ticket. However, the state leadership has refused to release the list. On the other hand, Yogesh Tamrkar, a contender for the mayor's post from the BJP of Satna, told reporters that he was called by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan at 7.30 am and said that Yogesh, you have to stand as the Satna mayoral candidate. And by winning the election, Vijayashree has to be given to the party. At the same time, the party's media in-charge Lokendra Parashar said that no list of mayoral candidates has been released by the party yet. The situation may be clear by this evening.
