Kangana’s emergency movie posters and video are setting the internet on fire as the actress is playing the role of  Indira Gandhi in her upcoming movie but before its release, it landed into controversy as the Congress party accused the movie of tarnishing Indira Gandhi’s image.

According to the latest reports Congress has objected to the actress’s portrayal of the former Prime Minister of India. The political party has reportedly demanded the makers show them the film before its official release as they believe the movie is an attempt to ruin the image of former PM Indira Gandhi.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Media Department vice-president Sangeeta Sharma has called Kangana a BJP agent and has said that the role was taken up by her to tarnish the image of Indira Gandhi at the behest of the ruling BJP. She demanded that the film be shown to them before its release while in response the Bharatiya Janata Party reportedly said that Congress has objected to the film because they are nervous.

Kangana has recently posted a video and wrote a caption, “Here is the making of the first look of my directorial movie Emergency, the first look took the nation by storm… thanks to my incredible team, every day is a dream come true … I have some of the best people in the world… Go team Emergency.”  As soon as the video released it became the number one trending video on youtube.
