New Delhi: At a function held in AIIMS Delhi on Vijayadashmi, some students made false remarks on Lord Ram and Mother Sita. The students' association of AIIMS has apologised after the video went viral on social media. A function was held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi on Vijayadashmi.

It made fun of the Ramayana, Lord Ram and Mother Sita by some students of AIIMS and wrong comments were made about them. The video went viral on social media after which the AIIMS Student Association issued an apology on Twitter.

The same association has posted that video clips of some students from AIIMS mocking Ramlila are going viral on social media. On behalf of the students, we apologise for this function. The purpose was not to hurt anyone. We will ensure that such activities do not exist in future. Though the student organisation has taken to Twitter to share an apology, no action has been taken so far.
