Cryptocurrencies traded mixed early on August 3 with the global crypto market cap rising marginally by 0.03 percent to USD 1.06 trillion over the last day. On the other hand, the total crypto market volume declined 5.05 percent  to USD 77.33 billion over the last 24 hours.

Early on August 3, cryptocurrency prices were uneven, with the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies increasing marginally by 0.03 percent to USD 1.06 trillion from the previous day. On the other hand, over the past day, the overall volume of the crypto market fell by 5.05 percent, to USD 77.33 billion.

The second-largest cryptocurrency, Ether, which is connected to the Ethereum network, increased more than 1% to USD 1,612. Shiba Inu's price, meanwhile, increased slightly to USD 0.000012 while Dogecoin's price fell by about 2% to USD 0.06 today.

DeFi's 24-hour volume was USD 7.35 billion, or 9.51 percent, of the overall volume of the cryptocurrency market. All stable coin volume was USD 71.90 billion, or 92.98% of the 24-hour volume of the whole crypto market.
The price of Bitcoin fluctuated about Rs 19.16 lakh, with a 41.25 percent market share. According to information from CoinMarketCap, this represented a daily decline of 0.23 percent.

In other news, New York State's financial regulator fined the cryptocurrency division of Robinhood Markets Inc. USD 30 million for allegedly breaking consumer protection, cybersecurity, and anti-money-laundering laws. The regulator claimed that Robinhood Crypto did not allocate enough resources to address compliance and cybersecurity risks.
