In the last 24 hours, cases of coronavirus increased by 3,722 and there were 134 deaths. The total number of coronavirus positive cases in the country has now reached 78,003. This includes 49,219 active cases and 26,235 cured patients. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 2549 people have died due to coronavirus infection so far in the country.

Most cases of coronavirus infection have been reported from Maharashtra so far. There, cases of rapid infection are increasing. So far, 25,922 people in Maharashtra have been exposed to Coronavirus infection. 975 people have died. Although 5547 people have recovered during this period, the situation remains worrisome. More than 1000 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the slum area Dharavi here, which are alarm bells for the Maharashtra government.
